I went in after running a couple errands nearby, thinking it would be a quick stop, but the wait ended up being long. The staff seemed like they were trying their best and were friendly enough, but everything felt a bit messy and unorganized. Not the worst experience, just more frustrating than I expected.

My kids had a really good time here, and it felt super family-friendly the whole way through. I think other parents would appreciate how easy and enjoyable it is for kids and families to spend time here

We went to carowinds last weekend, and I’ll be honest, I was nervous because my mom uses a wheelchair. I wasn’t sure if I was overthinking it, but I kept worrying the day was going to be stressful or complicated. Thankfully, it was way easier than I expected. The staff were really helpful with accessible entrances and explained things clearly without making us feel weird or like we were holding anyone up. The paths and restrooms were also easy to manage, which was such a relief. It just made the day feel normal and fun, and that’s all we were hoping for. I don’t know if other people worry about this stuff before going, but if you do, our experience was really positive. Huge thanks to the workers who were patient and kind with us.

The kids had a great time at the water park and absolutely loved the slides. The lines weren’t too bad, and the water areas seemed clean, which was nice. The only downside was when I had a question for staff, I kind of felt dismissed and like they just wanted to move me along. Still, the kids enjoyed it, so overall it was a good day.

The rides were fine, and we still managed to have a decent time, but the live entertainment was disappointing. A couple of the shows felt really short and kind of low-energy, like they were just going through the motions. We also waited around for one act that ended up starting late, which was frustrating after already dealing with the usual lines and delays all day. It wasn’t terrible, but I left feeling a little worn out by the whole experience and expected more.

Security was quick, like I was through in just a few minutes or so. No real hassle, which was nice

Everyone we dealt with was really nice and got us helped out quickly. Based on this visit, it seems like they really care about treating people well and not wasting your time.

I bought tickets on carowinds.com and then immediately had that little panic moment like, wait… why aren’t they showing up? We were supposed to go the next day, so of course my brain went straight to, great, now this is going to be a whole thing. But customer service actually got back to me way faster than I expected. They explained what happened, resent everything, and didn’t make it feel complicated at all. Once I had the tickets, the trip went perfectly fine. i really appreciated how easy they made it.

The rides felt really safe, which I definitely appreciated, but oh my gosh, the staff stopped things so many times it started to feel like the day was moving in slow motion. I totally get that safety comes first, but the constant pauses were a bit frustrating and kind of killed the excitement

I had a really good time overall, but the food and drinks felt way too expensive for what they were. It kind of changed the vibe a bit once I realized how much everything was adding up. If you're planning to go, I'd definitely bring extra money.

The park itself was a lot of fun and we still had a good day overall, but the parking situation was kind of frustrating. For a theme park, the food was solid. We got burgers and fries, and they came out hot and tasted fresh, which is really all you can ask for in a place like that. The kids were happy with their snacks too, so no complaints from us

I almost talked myself out of the second trip because we’d already been, but it would’ve felt like we missed out. The park had a totally different vibe each time, which made it feel fresh instead of like the same visit over again. Food is still expensive like you’d expect at a theme park, but overall we had a great time and I’d definitely go again next season.

It felt super smooth, but still had that intense stomach-drop feeling that makes a coaster memorable. For a Saturday, I was expecting the lines to be a lot worse, but they moved steadily and the staff seemed to keep things organized. The park felt clean enough overall, and while the food was definitely overpriced, that kind of feels expected at a theme park. I’d definitely go back again, especially for the coasters.

We got the season pass for the family and it’s decent if you plan on going a bunch, but between parking and food and all the little extras it still gets expensive really fast and some days are so crowded that it’s hard to really enjoy everything. It’s not a bad deal overall, I just thought it would feel like a bit more value for the price

I didn’t expect to notice this as much as I did, but Carowinds was really clean when we went. After a while, I started picking up on the pattern: bathrooms were kept in good shape, no weird smells, workers were constantly grabbing trash around the walkways, and the food area tables kept getting wiped down. Even later in the day, when parks usually start to look rough, it still didn’t feel messy. The trash cans weren’t overflowing either, which I always take as a good sign. It made the whole visit feel a lot more relaxed and enjoyable.
